What is a mylar bag?

Mylar bags are used to prevent premature degradation caused by time and external environmental conditions. Mylar is an incredibly durable and strong thin material that is also flexible and metalized. This material makes it immune to oxygen, water, vapor, and light, thus making it the ideal product for long term food or herb storage.
